Wild Boar Tenderloin: The perfect combo of flavor and texture
The tenderloin is one of the most prized cuts of meat. It originates from the muscle along the backbone, which is minimally used, yielding an incredibly tender piece of meat.
Cooking a tenderloin promises a delicate, melt-in-your-mouth texture that’s nothing short of extraordinary.
Wild boar meat offers a unique, nutty flavor that’s richer and sweeter than conventional pork.
It’s the kind of taste that makes you go, “Where have you been all my life?” It’s lean, it’s mean, and it’s got the perfect robust flavor that’ll blow your typical Tuesday night dinner out of the water.
While most of the wild boar from the United States is typically exported to Germany, Italy, and France, we source our boar directly from trappers located throughout the Texas Hill Country.
To minimize stress, our wild boars are humanely trapped and transported under veterinary supervision. Each animal undergoes USDA inspection, meeting all necessary requirements. Since these boars are truly wild, they roam freely without the use of added hormones, steroids, or antibiotics.
