Support your local farmers!

National Farmers Market Week is celebrated every first week in August, not only to support the farmers to sell their goods but to raise awareness that they make our nation healthier and give back to the community by providing jobs.

A farmers’ market is where fresh food is sold directly from the local farms to the consumer.

This means there are no middlemen, nor is the food kept in freezers for days and weeks before it reaches your kitchen.

Another characteristic is that the fruits, vegetables, and meats they sell are completely organic and free of preservatives and pesticides, thus making them healthier and more delicious than the food located at grocery stores.

According to studies, the farmers at these markets pocket 90 cents for each dollar of sales, so if you have the chance, make sure to visit your local farmers’ market in your city.

There are over 8,690 farmers’ markets nationwide, so you have a good chance of finding one in your community!

You can currently find us at the Los Alamos Farmers Market every Thursday and at the Corrales Farmers Market on Sundays.

We bet big on localism! That’s why most of our meat comes from American ranchers (including bison from our ranch right here in New Mexico), and our seafood comes from fishermen we know by name.
